Cookie policy

Last updated:

The whole policy in one sentence

krasoden.online stores nothing on your device and reads nothing from it. No cookies, no localStorage, no sessionStorage, no IndexedDB, no cache identifiers, no fingerprinting, and no requests to any third-party server. Nothing to accept, nothing to refuse, nothing to manage.

What a cookie is, briefly

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep and hand back on your next visit. It is what lets a site recognise a returning device. Related technologies — localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, tracking pixels, browser fingerprinting — do much the same job by other means, and European law treats them the same way.

What this site uses

Every storage and tracking technology, and whether this site uses it.
TechnologyUsed here?Notes
Strictly necessary cookiesNoThe site is static. There is no session, no login and no basket, so nothing needs remembering.
Preference cookiesNoNo theme switch, no language switch, no dismissible banner.
Analytics cookiesNoWe run no analytics product at all, cookie-based or otherwise.
Advertising cookiesNoNo ad network code runs on this site.
Tracking pixels / beaconsNoNo Meta pixel, no Microsoft UET tag, no Google conversion tag.
localStorage / sessionStorageNoNot used anywhere in the site's JavaScript.
IndexedDB / Web SQLNoNot used.
Browser fingerprintingNoWe read no canvas, font list, screen metric, WebGL or audio signature.
Third-party requestsNoNo Google Fonts, no CDN, no remote images, no embedded media, no social widget. Every asset is served from this domain.
Server log filesYesNot device storage. Kept on the server for security and diagnostics, briefly. See the privacy policy.

Why there is no consent banner

Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), as implemented in Czech law and across the EU, requires consent before a website stores information on a user's device or gains access to information already stored there — with a narrow exemption for what is strictly necessary to deliver a service the user asked for.

That obligation is never triggered here, because we store nothing and read nothing. A consent banner would be theatre: it would ask you to make a choice about something that is not happening. Worse, most banners are themselves loaded from a third-party consent platform, which means the banner asking permission to track you has already contacted someone else's server. We would rather remove the collection than negotiate over it.

How to verify this yourself

Do not take our word for it. The checks below take about a minute and work in any modern desktop browser.

Firefox, Chrome, Edge or Brave

  1. Open this page in a new private / incognito window, so that nothing left by other sites confuses the result.
  2. Press F12 (or Ctrl+Shift+I) to open developer tools.
  3. Go to the Application tab in Chrome, Edge or Brave, or the Storage tab in Firefox.
  4. Reload the page with F5, then look at Cookies, Local Storage, Session Storage and IndexedDB for krasoden.online. Every one of them should be empty.
  5. Switch to the Network tab and reload again. Every request listed should be to krasoden.online — the HTML page, one stylesheet, the SVG images and one small script. If you see a request to any other domain, we have made a mistake and we want to hear about it.
  6. Still in the Network tab, click the HTML document and look at the Response Headers. There should be no Set-Cookie header.

Safari

  1. Enable the developer menu: Safari → Settings → Advanced → Show features for web developers.
  2. Open a private window, load this page, then Develop → Show Web Inspector.
  3. Check the Storage tab for cookies and local storage, and the Network tab for the list of domains contacted.

Without developer tools

Install any reputable tracker-blocking extension and load the site: its counter should stay at zero. Or simply read the page source with Ctrl+U. There are no external <script> or <link> tags to find.

What the one script on this site does

For completeness: the site loads a single small JavaScript file, /js/params.js, served from this domain. It does exactly two things. It copies advertising campaign parameters that are already present in the address bar of the page you arrived on onto the outbound partner link, so the advertiser can attribute the referral; and it re-applies the rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" attributes to those links. It stores nothing, reads nothing from your device, contacts no server and runs no tracking. You can read the whole file in a few seconds — it is deliberately short. The site works normally with JavaScript disabled.

When you leave this site

Our commitments cover our domain only. If you follow a partner link, the advertiser's site takes over and will almost certainly use cookies and tracking of its own. That is their disclosure to make, in their own privacy policy, and we would encourage you to read it.

Managing cookies in general

Although there is nothing to manage here, every browser lets you block or delete cookies site-by-site under its privacy settings. Doing so will not change anything about this site, which is rather the point.
